IMO, the best value spring piston sporter is the RWS 350 Magnum & the best value PCP is the Evanix Hunting Master AR6.
IMO, The best "money is no object" .22 caliber air rifle is the Daystate Air Ranger.

What do you consider best is?
What do you want the gun to do?
What are you going to do with it?
Hunt?
Plink?
F/T? (Field Target)
Pest control?
What kind of power plant do you want?
Co2?
Pump?
Springer?
HPA? (High Pressure Air)
Everybody here listed great guns, they all do the same thing, shoot
pellets. Some of the guns listed aren’t good for what you intend to use it for.
Asking what’s the best .22 or .25 period isn’t much to go on.
I could tell you get a HW100, plenty of power and accurate. Only problem is it’s a $1275.00 rifle. Not unless money isn’t an object for you. This rifle is very powerful, accurate, but you want to only use it for backyard plinking, and you’re yard is only 20 ft long. It’s a bit overkill just for shooting in the yard. See what I’m getting at?
You need to answer those question for a good straight answer. But then again, everyone will tell you what they think the best is in their mind and you wouldn’t know the difference now would you?
Ruger 10/22, you can do just about anything to it! There are all kind of after market parts you can buy and you can dump as much money as you like with new after market parts!
