Beeman R1
Most accurate sights for open sight shooting?
I am looking for an airgun to target shoot with in my backyard. I mainly want to be able to hit grapes from 30-50 yards. I love open sight shooting, scopes are a no go. What is the most accurate type of sight for open sight shooting? I am thinking of a Post Globe front sight, found on the Beeman R1 SuperMagnum and some RWS Diana models.
I am thinking of buying a Beeman R1 because of the quality of the gun, i like the post globe sights, and the german made Rekord trigger. How do you guys feel about the gun? thx

A Beeman peep sight is perfect, add the target insert* for the post globe front sight and you have a great combination.

I traded my Beeman R1 away 2 years ago. Bad mistake, I have been kicking myself ever since.
I didn't replace the iron sights on that R1, but did add a Beeman blue ribbon scope.
As soon as I find one I'm happy with, I plan to replace that R1
